My Etsy Wish List

I know we're all feeling the pinch in the purse this year and I'm so pleased that the depressing, gloomy start to the year was quashed by the vibrant and uplifting Jubilee & Olympic celebrations. And it continues with the Paralympics which is just utterly amazing! Such inspiring athletes.

Some evenings when C is at football I like to have a bit of window shopping on Etsy, its ideal snuggled up on the sofa with a cuppa (tonight the Paralympics on in the background). Its been tough this year with C and his work/job, me going back full time and not being able to spend a penny (no not in the public convenience sense). So the next best thing is to add my goodies to my favourites, revisit, add, delete....in the hope that when things settle down I can treat myself a little.

Leather Messenger Handbag Satchel Yellow from TheLeatherStore

I am already lucky enough to own a bag from The Leather Store, its a beautiful Aubergine colour leather and this yellow one is just stunning. Perfect for cheering me up on sunny days.

Vinyl Wall Decal 'Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass it's about learning to Dance in the rain' from   InitialYou

I love wall decals and this one is very much my outlook on life. And let me tell you I have done plenty of dancing in the rain :)

14K GOLD Leaf Necklace - As Seen on Courtney Cox And Jennifer Aniston from classicdesigns

I've had my eye on this little gem for a loooonnnnng time (hint hint Mr. C!!) ClassicDesigns have some beautiful silver and gold Jewellery for sale I'm a huge fan.

Strapless Grecian Silk Wedding Dress, "June-Lily" Gown by rschone

And lastly but no means least if C and I ever do get around to finally tying the knot I would love to wear a dress like this one. Wearing my feather necklace of course :)

Best get saving those pennies up........

My Valentine

For Valentine's day this year I bought my other half this gorgeous card from Storeyshop. The very talented Helen hand cuts all the cards she makes and they are fantastic. Its not the first time I've bought cards from Storeyshop, as soon as I saw this one I had to buy it....just perfect.

Me and C aren't a mushy couple but I know he's my soul mate and I love him to bits. Right I'm off for a cuddle on the sofa with a cup of tea.

Hope you all had a lovely Valentine's day xxx

Almost there

I'm not very good at deciding what a post title should be.....and today is the usual. Its almost the weekend, well I know we're only half way through the week but since I have so much to get done this weekend I cant wait for Friday to be here.

I'm almost done with the website makeover, I cant wait to reveal the 'new' look site. I cant say that my favourite part of it is the actual uploading, but its slowly getting there. A few new pages, lots of new bags and accessories and some photos of me, my studio and me working in my studio. This will also mean that my blog will be getting an overhaul too to match.
Today is my 2nd Etsy anniversary, so I'm offering free delivery on any item until Sunday (delivery will be refunded after purchase). I also thought it would be nice if I did a giveaway which celebrates, my blog anniversary, my Etsy anniversary and the re-launch of the website...so keep your eyes peeled for that as I'm feeling pretty generous on this one!! ;)
(still loving the antlers, something exciting happening for the next trade fair which includes them and more!!)

Just for fun :D

Driving back on the A1 today it really felt like Autumn......in some parts the journey was quite breathtaking. The trees were all golds, reds and dark greens starting to turn brown. Leaves had fallen and even though the air was briskly cool the sun gleamed through the trees and warmed the inside of the car as I drove. I had a lovely time on Saturday night and the bride was beautiful (especially the dress ;) I will get a photo to post soon).

So in the 'spirit' of Autumn and Halloween, I thought I'd make something just for fun. Totally off the cuff and not planned. Its nice to be just a little spontaneous every once and a while.

This is Jack the pumpkin head purse :D I only made one, and have just listed him here. He has little rhinestone pupils that gleam in the light! And his insides are bright orange (of course!).
And this brooch would look fab on a costume or jacket for a Halloween party and is listed here. I'm looking forward to getting Skelly Bob and the rest of my decorations out in time for the children calling for treats......Oh how I do love Halloween.

I've been a good girl

I have, honestly!! Since the studio is plastered and will be getting painted next weekend it was time to start sorting....who knew you would collect so many crafty things in the space of 6months. Well that's what I'm telling myself because I'm sure I didn't half as much this time last year. I nearly broke my back carrying just one of the fabric totes I have in my garage. I even shocked myself when I emptied it onto the lounge floor......WOW what a collection. But it is starting to look like I've got an obsession with buying fabric and not using it.

Chris sat me down and trying not to get stressy when I told him I'm waiting for some fabric from the states said it was kinda getting cramped in the garage and blah blah I do get the point though...it was like being in rehab or AA, my name is Emma and I'm addicted to fabric! :D but I love it so.

So the decision was made that I had to pick 4 fabrics from my stash and 'get rid' not my words I might add. So as you can see above these 4 beautiful, vibrant, sassy fabrics are in my etsy shop for a bargain knock down price. I have said in the listings that I will give major discount if someone wants to bulk any but I thought I'd throw it out to my fellow bloggers that if you want to make me an offer on any or you would like to swap for something please get in touch. I'd love them to go to a new home.....so offer away.
