They look better in the flesh, but I like this one because its granite gray background with a black flocked pattern.....I could stroke it forever.
Then this one is kind of a pearlised paper with a faint pattern....its pretty but with off white walls will this be too plain???
This I love purely because its monochrome......beautiful. The background is an off white pearlised colour and the black pattern is flocked....mmmmmm fury!!! :)
So still no further forward with deciding.....I think I will try and eliminate the ones that I don't think will fit in and then maybe go and look for some more samples ;)
I'd love it if you would leave me a comment as to what you think.....it might just help me make my mind up.
Spending today and tomorrow re-stocking my website and etsy store with new items so that should keep me busy while you decide on the wallpaper.
I have to say the first one is my fave. I like the pattern the best and the other ones just seem TOO PRETTY... I mean, I would sit and stare at them/get lost in them and never finish anything.
ReplyDeleteeither 1st or 4th photo! All very lovely thugh so I can see why you are finding it hard to decide :)
ReplyDeleteThey're all lovely, but I think 1, 4 and 7 are the nicest - no 4 is prob my favourite but then I do love pink!

hi there just found your blog - i did a post on wallpaper a couple of weeks ago and im sure i have some of the same samples as you - i did have a little go at wallpapering since but it really helps putting up the samples one at a time in the room your doing as the light makes them look so different!!! good luck!!! its a fun project at least :-)

Oh, tough choices! I'm drawn to the ones with the pink...but, I am a bit of a girly girl! The one with the all-over pink foilage is my fav. If you want a little more versatility with your color palette, then you would probably want to go with a black/white though....

(glad I could help...*grin*)
You need a colour contrast rather than the black I think. I'd like to see the brown/pink combo. Could be gorgeous or too much hard to tell.I like the idea of sticking them up. From experience black and white flock can be a bit hard on the eyes after a while. I find it sort of 'crawls' if my eyes are tired. Good luck :)
ReplyDeleteWhat fun to decorate -- even if the decisions are hard. I love the last black and white one myself, it's just so crisp and graphic.
ReplyDeleteReally hard choice, but I would pick the last one (the black and white)
ReplyDeleteI personally like the last one the best. I also think it would allow you to modify hanging art and other colors in the room to make the room inspiring at the time.
ReplyDeleteI love no.4! It looks great, its girly but not too girly and really you could add any colour at all with it. It would look cozy and striking.Have I sold you on it yet? ;P
ReplyDeleteI think I might have to get that wallpaper too now!lol!
Let us know what you decide!

Not many votes for number three? :( I do like this one....anyone else got a favourite?
ReplyDeleteI like the second last one. Pink is not really my color. The paper with black is okay too.
ReplyDeleteGood luck!
You are going to have to live with it, so make sure it's one you love! I like plain walls, because I like to hang pictures on them - fabric pictures as well as 'traditional' art. x
ReplyDeletepersonally, I would do all the walls in number 2 except one wall and do that in number 5. The room has sloped ceiling doesn't it are they walls that come to a peak or it there a separate ceiling, you need to be carefull that the coloured walls don't make it claustrophobic. Choosing one wall of coolour means you can pick out that colour in other things in the room for your colour scheme and it is MUCH easier to change if you suddenly become sick of it.
ReplyDeleteThat's my 2 yens worth :o)
I like number 1,3 and the last one. Does that help at all? Thank you for your lovely comment about my new bag. I love making them I just need to seel a few as they are backing up a bit!

they are all so pretty but my favs are the first one and the last one!
ReplyDeleteThey're ALL beautiful, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE the last one!! I think it would look amazing on a wall. I can't wait to see what you choose~ and hopefully an after picture :)
ReplyDeleteMy fav is the second one....so much you could add to bring color in the room.....candy
ReplyDeleteI like the sound of the dark brown, pink flowers and Gold detailing, I think it will give you lots of options of clours to pick up on elsewhere in the room. Have fun deciding, what an ace project!
ReplyDeleteThe last one, the last one!
ReplyDeletethe silver one with the pink fleaves is my favourite, I have seen it before and would love to use it somewhere myself
