Crochet hook rolls, oh yes and pretty button too!

Happy Friday my lovelies, I hope that you've had a good week and are looking forward to the weekend. I know I am, I'm hoping to be able to spend a couple of hours sewing at some point. Skimming through my saved posts I had almost forgotton to show you this....

What do you do when you learn to crochet, you buy some pretty crochet hooks and you want somewhere to keep them safe????? Well you go and make yourself a hook roll of course :D

In my favourite colours too!

I actually added a loop later on to safely store my embroidery scissors too....perfect.

It wouldn't be complete without some cute buttons.

Finishing touch...one of my labels.
I love it, practical and pretty.

Have a fantastic weekend,
Emma xxx

fabric + buttons

While I was really busy browsing my fav craft shops last week I also bough these fab buttons from Blooming Felt....needed for some more felt flower hair bands.

I've been after these prints for a while now, I can see them making gorgeous make up bags. Bought from Frumble.

This week I've been trying to be more disciplined with myself and my craft, its been too long since I updated my website. I have lots of new makes to add to it but I've just been putting it off for this reason and that. So Monday I had a bit of a reshuffle of pages and deleted a few I felt weren't adding any value to my site. I have lots of other exciting bits and bobs to add so I'll keep you posted along the way. I'm also contemplating adding some of my bags etc to my etsy and folksy shops. First things first though.....www.bagladee.com!

Good enough to eat

OK I'm back with something more fun....I've just received these buttons that I bought from Sarah at Paper-and-string and I think they look like sweeties. Good enough to eat! I must have sat for about an hour when they arrived just playing with them and trying to pick one out that was my favourite but I just couldn't decide. They are all so yummy!!

If you'd like to own some of these gorgeous button then pop over to Paper-and-string where you can get your hands on them.
Yes there is more!! I love these little flower buttons, they are so sweet. I especially love the pink ones they are my fav.

And I did promise that after Ag received her Freestyle Swap gift from me I would show you what I sent her. I made a lovely bag in shades of orange which is one of her favourite colours, I also made a fabric box to keep bits and bobs in and a felt purse. And in the center is a pink butterflies note book that I found on Etsy.
Off to cut out some fabric before bed.....
