Cup Cake of the Inedible Kind.

Finally I can show you the gifts I put together for my friends birthday which is this week. Some were bought and some were made by myself......

Starting with the gift bag......I used some ribbon and a cupcake embellishment from my friend Sarah at Paper and string (yes I'm a big fan!)

I was trying to go for a girly theme for the gifts so pink and cupcakes were my inspiration.

I bought a gorgeous card from BaxterAndMadison and some handmade soap from Dragon06 who both have shops on Etsy.

This little fellow came from Treaclezoo her name is Gumball and I thought she was round and cute like a cupcake :)

Then onto my little creation, I made this purse out of some pieces of the cupcake fabric I had left and some pink cotton I had. I used more Ribbon from Paper and string and some diamantes for embellishments. The inside lining is also bright pink, very cute and very girly......Perfect :)

Little close up of the detailing.

As I had bought a few of the cupcake embellishments I decided to make a key chain out of them to match the purse. I cant take the credit for the impeccably made cupcakes as they are down to Sarah's handy work.....but if you're reading this Sarah I think I may have just added to your gorgeous collection ;)

I am off to bed now for a well deserved sleep, I've been on the computer all day today trying to get some of my website done (soon to be unveiled) only broke off for a couple of hours to get dinner and go to the cinema (to see Wall-e, fantastic go see it!!). So I think my eyes may well and truly be square!!!
